Golden Root Turmeric Lemonade

Our Golden Root Turmeric Lemonade Recipe is coming to you just in time for that high summer heat! Try this recipe to help you stay cool all summer long. The good news is, you probably have all of the ingredients in your kitchen right now! Iced recipes like this also help you stay on top of your turmeric game even when we're not in that cozy, warm, and fuzzy turmeric latte season. 

Get after it:

INGREDIENTS

• 1 Tbsp (or 1-2 sachets) of Original or Spicy Unsweetened Turmeric Latte Mix
• 2-3 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice (juice from 1-2 whole lemons) or bottled lemon juice, or 8-12oz store-bought pre-mixed lemonade 
• 1 tsp of sweetener of your choice if you aren't using store-bought lemonade (honey, coconut sugar, agave, maple syrup, etc.)
• Handful of ice

INSTRUCTIONS - *Using fresh lemon juice

1. Add 1 Tbsp (or 1-2 sachets) of Original or Spicy Unsweetened turmeric latte mix to the bottom of a glass
2. Add 1 tsp of the sweeter of your choice (I used a 1 tsp of coconut sugar even though I was using our Original *sweetened* mix - you're prolly used to lemonades being pretty sweet!)
3. Add 1oz of warm/hot water to the powder and stir until fully dissolved. You're making a magic lil turmeric concentrate here. 
4. Add a handful of ice
5. Now add that lemon, baby! I love my lemonade nice and tart, so I added 3 Tbsp of lemon juice. Find your sour/sweet spot and GO OFF.
6. Pour in 12-16oz of cold water
7. Stir well and get to sippin'

INSTRUCTIONS - *Using pre-mixed lemonade

1. Add 1 Tbsp (or 1-2 sachets) of Original or Spicy Unsweetened turmeric latte mix to the bottom of a pint glass
2. Add 1oz of warm/hot water to the powder and stir until fully dissolved. You're making a magic lil turmeric concentrate here. 
3. Add a handful of ice
4. Add 8-12oz of store-bought, pre-mixed lemonade
5. Stir well and get to sippin'
